DJ NYCHE

Born in Cali, Colombia and raised in New York DJ Nyche has indulged in the diverse cultures and sounds that New York has to provide. Grasping his multicultural surroundings, DJ Nyche diversified himself by listening to Oldies, Hip Hop, Reggae, Soul, Rock, Freestyle, Pop, House and all Latin genres. While tuning in, DJ Nyche began to learn the art of mixing music and developed his passion to become a DJ.
DJ Nyche later attended the State University at Purchase College where he began to further expand his skills as a Disc Jockey. He worked on studio productions with his DJ friend and producer L.O.S. and became the official Disc Jockey for his school’s Latin organization, “Latinos Unidos” and Manhattanville College’s LASO.
DJ Nyche also began hosting “Sabor Latino”, a radio show for the SUNY Purchase campus, which aired for two years on WPSR 1610AM. It was during the second year of the show that DJ Nyche was recognized by a fellow student that introduced him to the mobile DJ entertainment industry. Dj Nyche began to further expand his knowledge of the art of entertaining by learning how to MC the formalities of Weddings, Sweet 16’s and other private events in catering halls. At the same time, DJ Nyche began DJing in numerous bars and lounges through out New York City.
After graduating college, DJ Nyche continued to build his career as a Disc Jockey and MC by providing services for many DJ entertainment companies in the tri-state area. DJ Nyche has catered to crowds that love the 50’s Twist as much as the 60’s Rock, 70’s Disco, 80’s Pop Freestyle, and 90’s Dance. He has also catered to crowds that enjoy Old School and New School Hip Hop, Reggae, Soca, House and all Latin genres. To better his performance DJ Nyche also did a radio broadcast training at New York City’s prestigious Power 105.1 FM alongside his mentor DJ Chuck “The Triple Threat” Tolbert. Dj Nyche has also had the opportunity to share his musical talents for companies like Nike, Macy’s, Coca Cola and Price Chopper to name a few. In 2016, he had the opportunity to DJ at Met Life Stadium NJ for the Copa America Centenario, the 100th Anniversary of the FIFA international men’s association football tournament. DJ Nyche has also had the opportunity to work alongside Constantine Maroulis of American Idol and Elena Kampouris of My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2.  His passion for music has led DJ Nyche to his success as an entertainer and his eagerness for learning more about the entertainment industry has led to his next big move, Elated Sounds and Entertainment LLC.
